The Titleist Forged 690 MB irons are a traditional blade made more hittable. Forged from 1025 mild carbon steel the blade has a longer and deeper blade with the muscle portion moved lower in the back to promote a higher launch. The sole design allows the club to glide through turf without too much drag so you retain ball speed.
